FVA-SV103-XPFv4.1.0-PV910 Release Notes
Release Date

Release Overview
-
Dynamic-dimension resiliency was improved so invalid blueprints (missing table/unreachable source/schema drift) no longer crash solution or render an empty series name dropdown in the views page (AKA gone are the days of manually recompiling the account dimension in the metadata).
-
Source tables with a date column named something other than literally 'Date' will now work when mapped in (Views will actually display data. Previously, these 'good' blueprints would always say that they contained no data in the views page)
-
Drop from calc settings are now respected appropriately in all configurations and all views. For example:
- Cold start targets where we have actuals for certain targets beginning in the middle of a forecast. Meaning we have actuals for these targets and no forecasts.
- Overhang of actuals or forecast at start or end of the time window. Previously, these would either always or never be shown. Now, these should appropriately respect the setting and display or hide themselves appropriately.
- Shut down targets where we have a forecast continue to contain predictions that actuals have no values for.
- Win Margin, DateTime Win Margin, and Raw metric views now correctly respect the drop from calc settings as well.
-
Defaulting to oldest Forecast Start Date (UD1). When first running a visualization, FVA will now default to selecting the oldest available forecast start date.
-
Source tables containing “None” as a member in a mapped dimension column will no longer cause issues in error metric calculations. Previously, this was causing a duplicate “None” member to appear in UD dropdowns on the visualization page. Now, there will only be a single “None” member and metrics will calculate as expected at all levels.
-
Aggregating Forecast Start Date (UD1) will now work as intended. Previously, if trying to analyze a summary of multiple Forecast Start Dates, a bug caused inconsistent error metric calculations. This has now been addressed.

Known Issues
- Manually selecting upwards of 100 elements in multi-select combo boxes will degrade performance within the Modern Browser Experience (BUX).
- Manually editing the dynamic cube (FVA_Cube) settings or any dynamic dimension (FVA_[Dimension Type]) will cause the solution to malfunction.
