Release Overview​

This release focuses on improving solution load times and navigation speeds, as well as addressing some minor issues.

  • SensibleAI Forecast

    • Page rendering speed updates

      • 25% page rendering increase on average across all pages in FOR
      • 85% page render increase on the Pipeline Arena and Analysis Forecast pages for projects with grouping and forecast overlays.
      • API caching optimizations to reduce load times across all pages.
      • Updated AIS Frameworks for speed enhancements.

    • Functional updates

      • Pipeline Arena page and Analysis Forecast page

        • Enhanced functionality for filtering targets (simpler filtering and improved load time).
        • New Forecast Versions pane for filtering forecast versions on the Analysis Forecast. page with improved user experience.
        • More descriptive tooltips throughout the pages.
        • Added ability for direct download of data driving the visuals.
        • Improved the generative AI modal component allowing users to resize it and move it around the screen.

  • Fixed Issues:

    • Object reference error when feature data sources are unprocessed.
    • ProjectId Not Found Error fixed on Home page when navigating to Model Build without a project selected.
    • Layout styling error when resetting Time Zone on both the home page and global settings dialog.
    • Layout error after exiting Data Source Update Dialog.
    • Redirect error from Rebuilds, Restarts, and Global Options navigates to the correct pages and handles their logic correctly now.
    • Build Statistics will not update based on Feature Data Set Upload.
    • Feature Data Set Upload handles spaces at the beginning of a feature set name.
    • User friendly error handling when trying to complete Component Workflows without going through all of the necessary steps.
    • Events page validation requiring a user to have an event selected before creating an occurrence.
    • Datasource snapshots now display the name of the source table instead of the name of the parquet file generated from the source table.
    • Reconciliation task improvements to run more efficiently and handle more unique configurations.

Known Issues​

  • Filling out multiple drop-down boxes within Source Data Upload, Feature Data Upload, or Data Update dialog input forms too quickly will fill in with defaulted dimension values instead of persisting the previously selected values. Recommendation: do not click through as fast as possible.
  • Within the Pipeline Arena page or the Analysis Forecast page, when navigating from the Waterfall or Periodic Explanations views to the Tug Of War view will result in the Tug Of War plot only taking up half the screen. Recommendation: click a dropdown from the model arena table to fix the width of the tug of war visual.
  • Within the Pipeline Arena page or the Analysis Forecast page, when viewing the Periodic Explanations page, feature names may extend outside of their cell bounds and overlap with the cell values. Users may expand this column to view the full feature name without it overlapping. Recommendation: expand the width of the column by clicking and dragging on the column divider.
  • Within the Pipeline Arena page or the Analysis Forecast page, users may see a tooltip “Hide training data” in places that may not be expected (column names on the Periodic Explanations page for example).
  • Within the Pipeline Arena or the Analysis Forecast page, the PolyElasticNet and Cubist Model variants will generate Feature Impact results but will not generate Feature v. Actual plot data.
  • The solution does not block you from making project model build alterations while that project is being copied. Recommendation: it is advised that you avoid making alterations to the project while it is being copied.
  • On the home page, Job Status for a project only shows main section updates (Target Data Load, Pipeline, Deploy, and Rebuild) instead of all possible jobs. Future releases will show all jobs that are run.
  • When running model builds that leverage Hierarchical Forecasting with reconciliation, it is possible for targets disregards the Allow Negative Targets setting No and actually product forecasts with negative target values.
  • When projects are running pipelines or other costly jobs consuming more than 75% of server resources, page rendering speeds may increase by 25%.
  • When filtering the targets on Configure Assign, Configure Model, and Manage Health if the filter returns no targets an error will when clicking the magnifying glass in the bottom of the targets pane. Current solution is to click out of the error and create a new filter.
  • When running a data source update, users are not blocked from providing datasets that have an incorrect frequency. Predictions after said updates will fail as the frequency has changed.
  • On a project restart, previously configured events may be removed. Recommendation: revisit events and assignments after restarting a project.
  • Users are not blocked from running the restart job while a project copy is running. This is not recommended as the projects may end up being in different states. Recommendation: do not run a restart job (or any other job) while a project is being copied.
