XPFv4.1.3 Release Notes

Author: Evan Rasmussen, Created: 2026-06-11

Release Date

Release Overview

The focus of this release is a single bug fix around an OIS token becoming too large if users are members of a large number of groups (5000+).

Bug Fixes

  • Truncated OIS Token

    • Fixed a bug where the OIS token being sent to xperiflow would be too large due to a user being part of many (1000s) of groups. This would block them out of all solutions and prevent them from hitting any Xperiflow APIs. Web dashboard authentication flows are separate but also were affected by this large number of groups (though only impactful with more than 5,000 groups). This authentication flow has been resolved by 4.1.3.

OIS Config Modification Steps

To receive the actual fix for the OIS token, a user must modify the OIS configuration to not send groups anymore. To do this, one must submit a support ticket after upgrading, requesting that “The group claim be removed from the api://xperiflow OIS api resource”.

The environment PAT must be configured before changing the OIS setting

Dependencies

OneStream Platform 9.1.0+

XBR-SV210-XPFv4.1.0-PV910

AIS Dependency Bundle SV112

Known Issues

  • When running the ML Classifier routine, specifically the train method, errors may arise from using the SMOTE input option for Data Imbalance Technique. If routine run fails are noticed, please reach out to an AIS Support Member and refrain from using the specific technique.
  • When setting forecast handling to Trim to Global Actuals in deployed model forecast consumption groups that are cascaded, there can be missing data depending on source data quality as well as number of targets. If forecast data seems to be missing, revert back to exporting all DMF data followed by a ModelForecastStage routine run to get the cascaded DMF.
  • Race condition that can cause jobs to immediately fail with “No entrypoint exists for job id: X”, this is a very rare bug that should not persist on retry. This is fixed in 4.3.

Upgrade Guide

This upgrade follows a standard XCT upgrade. Please ensure that if you are going to make the OIS config change to not send groups that you must do the following first:

  • Configure PAT in the environment
  • Run XCT upgrade to XPFv4.1.3

Before upgrading to XPFv4.1.3 please be sure to upgrade directly to XPFv4.0.4 first. Once the upgrade to XPFv4.0.4 is complete, the process to upgrade to XPFv4.1.3 can be started.

If coming from a version prior to XPFv4.0.0, follow this guide:
