Major Updates Include:

Security Updates

• Snapshots: Now designated to a SnapshotGroup (all based on Security Groups controlled by the administrator of their OneStream organization). Users will only be able to see snapshots that are in their security group.

• Admin Creation:

  • On Install, an FVA Admin Group can be set. This admin user will be able to see all snapshots if they are a part of that group or a general admin user.
  • Admin users will have edit capabilities when amending a snapshot's group.

Database Migration

• Database tables must be migrated from previous versions in order to work for this update. To do this, the table setup script was updated.
  • Updates to this script split up a New Install + Update Install functions.
  • For migrated tables from a previous version of FVA, admin users will be able to go in and edit the snapshot groups so that they can be in accordance to the new structure of snapshots.
